On successful completion of the electrician course theory, you will be eligible to undertake instructor

All content from Domestic Electrical Installer - theory modules leading to the following City & Guilds qualifications:
- 2330-301 (Level 3 – Unit 1) – application of Health & Safety and electrical principles
- 2330-302 (Level 3 – Unit 2) – inspection testing and commissioning
- 2330-303 (Level 3 – Unit 3) – installation (buildings and structures) fault diagnosis and rectification
- 2391 practical exam plus AM2 (achievement measurement) test – level 2
- 2356 - NVQ Level 3
Note regarding C&G 2356 – NVQ Level 3:
Providing you have successfully completed all the electrian course, with qualifications up to and including C&G 2391, you will be eligible to attempt the C&G 2356 NVQ Level 3 exam.
Graduating students in employment, able to cover the range of work based experience and gather the evidence required for the NVQ Level 3, will be assessed utilising the ‘diverse evidence’ route as well as direct observation by one of our C&G registered and accredited assessors. This process requires the assessor to be satisfied that the diverse evidence record is true and factual although in most circumstances, signed witness testimonies and photographic evidence will suffice, provided that these are auditable. The assessor will make the final decision in support of and in addition to direct on-site observations.
In addition to the high quality paper based learning materials and industry study library, your electrical course has the unique added benefit and support of the latest computer based technology in the form of e-learning and virtual reality scenario simulation. Introduced at key-stages and preceded by e-learning visual and audio you will have the opportunity to attempt scenarios in a variety of “real life” environments using fully interactive 3D Virtual Reality simulation software. The support doesn’t stop there; throughout your studies you will also have direct access to an electrical tutor, to answer any technical queries you may have.
Following successful completion of the Domestic Electrical Installer Programme you will have completed three supported study sections and achieved six industry recognised qualifications being: The certificated Essential Electric’s programme which is a foundation introduction to electricity and electrical principles. The C&G 2382 17th Edition of the IEE Wiring Regulations allowing you to formally demonstrate your knowledge of BS7671:2008, the C&G 2377 Portable Appliance testing qualification and your Full Scope Part P Qualification, preparing you to apply to become a registered Part P domestic installer. You will also achieve the Logic Certificated Domestic Periodic Inspection Report Qualification. Last but not least you will also achieve the City & Guilds 2330 Level 2 Technical Certificate, this is an essential underpinning knowledge stepping stone for individuals wishing to gain full electrical installation engineer status by attainment of the NVQ Level 3 qualification.
The next section of the electrical course is for those who have chosen to pursue the Electrical Installation Engineer career path, providing an additional four industry recognised qualifications to include: The City & Guilds 2330 Level 3 Technical certificate, the AM2 Achievement Measurement Test demonstrating your practical abilities to install, test and commission electrical installations - test, Inspection and Certification Qualification which also includes 3-Phase industrial electrical supply systems. Having achieved these additional qualifications you will then be more than adequately prepared to embark on the final leg of your journey which is demonstrating your ability to transfer the electrcian skills you have learnt in a controlled training center environment into the workplace.
