The Solar program is aimed at training centres, colleges, apprentices and gas engineers who wish to enhance their career and learn how to install domestic solar hot water systems.

It is an essential training program modelled on the national qualification Technical Certificate and NVQ level 2.

The programme consists of eight '‘tutorial-based' e-Learning modules with end assessments and five scenarios that includes solar thermal overview, health and safety, primary circuit designs, installations materials and fittings. At the end of each module, you undertake carefully designed self-assessments to test your knowledge.
